Les Miserables
This is the fourth time I've seen Les Mis. It is by far my most favorite musical production. The Van Wezel performance at the 2:00 matinee this Wednesday was the best of the four I've seen. Every lead voice was excellent. The sets were great. The interpretation of story was different than any other, in the best possible way. Victor Hugo was genius. This company brought the intentin of his script to life in the very best way. All our human traits, the desperation to the elation, and everything in between was masterfully given to us, your audience, by your stellar performances. Thank you.
Just wonderful
I cannot believe the criticism of this remarkable production. We left the theater completely drained emotionally. The performers put their hearts into every word, every action. The seats were fine, except I always manage to have a tall person in front of me. ( I'm 4'10). We are from Pennsylvania and the theater was truly beautiful, the staff helpful and friendly. I would go again if our vacation wasn't ending soon. Valjean, Javert, such dynamics between the two. Little gavroche, powerful. Eponine displayed such feeling.. Poor reviews for this play are hard to fathom. Credit should be given to performers who have brought to life the greatest literature ever written.
Awesome performance
I enjoyed every second of this performance! It’s definitely a must see! Thank you for coming to South Bend!
Magnificent
Saw Les Mis in Charlotte night of 5/24/25 and was blown away; near perfection on all fronts! Leads, ensemble, orchestra, mics, lighting and stage work were all incredible, such a brilliant performance!
Emotional and captivating…
I’ve seen Les Miserables 3 times in my life, last night was the best yet! The creamy and perfectly controlled voice of Jean Valjean was straight from the heavens and the gal that played Eponine was the same. Cast and set was 10/10!
One of best Les Mis
My wife and I have seen 9 different productions of Les Miserables from Broadway to Schenectady. This was possibly the best. It seems to have taken the best from others and melded them into this show. Lighting, sets, staging, costumes and of course performance. Not a weak spot anywhere. All the leads were spectacular as were the supporting cast. The orchestra was perfect. We were “ blown awayâ€. And the audience at our performance was equally dazzled, the cast had us in the palms of their hands. Looking foward to a cast recording!!
